Is It Always Right to Be Right?
(Animation 1970 Oscar Winner 1971)

The world is divided into factions, each on opposite sides of the issues; each side, of course, being right. And so the distance between people grows, until someone challenges the absolutist view of what is „right.”

Directed by Lee Mishkin and produced by Herb Brodkin, Is It Always Right to Be Right? is a political satire with witty humor, that explores the dangers of dogmatic thinking. The film follows a man as he becomes increasingly obsessed with being „right” at all costs.
