Tom and Jerry: The Yankee Doodle Mouse

This Tom and Jerry short was the first of seven to win an Oscar. In the short, Jerry helps a group of orphan mice sabotage Tom’s attempts to catch them.
Tom and Jerry engage in their usual battle while the soundtrack reminds us of war. A box of eggs is labeled „hen grenades” and Jerry drops light bulbs from a plane like bombs.
