Pe 12 martie a avut loc una dintre cele mai așteptate gale cinematografice ale anului, cea de-a 95-a ediție a Premiilor Oscar! Actorul Jimmy Kimmel a prezentat evenimentul pentru a treia oară. Casele de pariuri au anunțat un favorit clar, „Everything Everywhere All at Once”, un film SF de acțiune cu nu mai puțin de 11 nominalizări la Oscar.
Gala Oscar a fost transmisă în direct de postul de televiziune ABC, iar fani din peste 225 de țări și teritorii din întreaga lume au fost cu ochii pe ecrane pentru a vedea cine va câștiga trofeele mult-dorite. Filmul care a ajuns în centrul atenției, câștigând nu mai puțin de 7 premii Oscar, a fost chiar „Everything Everywhere All at Once”. Acesta a câștigat premii pentru cel mai bun film, cea mai bună actriță, cel mai bun regizor, cel mai bun montaj, cel mai bun actor în rol secundar, cea mai bună actriță în rol secundar și cel mai bun scenariu original. 11 nominalizări și 7 premii!
