„Am fost mereu în căutarea unui stil propriu, care sa ma reprezinte, dar nu am reusit sa-l gasesc mult timp. Cred ca motivul pentru care nu am reusit este ca eram prea tanar. Cand te maturizezi incepi sa te cunosti mai bine. Stii ce fel de persoana esti si asta e important pentru stilul personal. Spre exemplu, eu aproape intotdeauna ma simt fericit. Nu sunt o persoana deprimata, așa ca imaginile mele reflecta personalitatea mea si starea de spirit. Daca esti o o persoana cinica, ar trebui faci fotografii sau compozitii la fel de cinice. Nu incerca sa faci fotografii altfel decat esti decat daca faci asta ca pe o terapie.” Adrian Sommeling
